About the Physician

Medicine built on time, evidence, and attention

Dr. Brandon Nader, DO founded Nader Medical on a conviction: the most valuable thing a physician can offer isn't a prescription, it's sustained, careful attention to one person's health over time.

Why this practice exists

I trained as an osteopathic physician, which means I was taught from the first day of medical school to see the body as one interconnected system: structure, metabolism, hormones, sleep, and stress influencing each other constantly. That lens never left me.

My residency in family medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School put me on the front lines of primary care: clinic, urgent care, and hospital medicine. My fellowship in interventional spine and pain medicine then showed me the other end of the pipeline: patients arriving with complex, chronic conditions that had been building quietly for decades. Again and again, I found myself treating the downstream consequences of problems that were measurable, and often preventable, twenty years earlier.

That experience changed how I wanted to practice. Effective care starts with listening, accurate diagnosis, and a plan built for the individual in front of you, not a template. But the traditional system allots seven minutes for that conversation, and a lab panel designed to catch disease only after it arrives.

Nader Medical is the practice I built to work upstream. Hour-long visits. Comprehensive biomarker analysis: ApoB, fasting insulin, inflammatory markers, hormones, and body composition, interpreted against optimal ranges, not just "normal." Honest, evidence-based counsel about what medicine knows, what it suspects, and what it doesn't yet know. The medicine I would want for my own family.

The Approach

Three principles that govern every decision

Evidence over enthusiasm

If the data doesn't support a therapy, we say so, even when it would be easier to sell it. Especially then.

Prevention over prescription

The most powerful interventions in medicine are still sleep, training, nutrition, and early risk detection. Medication serves the plan; it isn't the plan.

Depth over volume

A deliberately limited patient panel. When your physician has time to think, you get better medicine. It's that simple.
